Dr. Sandip Bhattacharya serves as a Professor and Associate Dean at the School of Engineering, SR University, Warangal. He obtained his Ph.D. in VLSI interconnect modeling from IIEST Shibpur and pursued postdoctoral research in AI and Robotics at Hiroshima University, Japan. He also undertook an internship at the Micron Technology facility in Higashi Hiroshima.
With more than 16 years of combined experience in academia and industry, Dr. Bhattacharya has published over 102 research papers, including 50 indexed in SCI journals and 8 featured in esteemed IEEE publications. He has authored a book with CRC Press, holds six patents, and has multiple registered copyrights.
His achievements include the IETE J.C. Bose Memorial Award and a Sakura Science Exchange grant from Japan Science and Technology (JST) to explore Micron Technology’s Fab-Lab-15. He has coordinated DRDO-sponsored faculty development programs and actively contributes as a reviewer for leading journals such as IEEE Access, IEEE Sensors, and Nature Scientific Reports.
His primary research areas include VLSI circuit design, nano-interconnects for 3D integrated circuits, memory technologies, and AI-driven circuit design for robotic systems. He is also a member of several professional organizations, including IEEE, IETE, ISTE, and ASR.
