Hi! My name is Ronald, and I’m a native Dutch speaker from the Netherlands. I primarily teach Dutch, which is why I have several Dutch courses here on Udemy. Recently, however, I’ve begun to refocus on a topic that was at the forefront of my college years, when I studied pedagogy (educational theory), which is the connection between education and society in relation to human thoughts and behavior.

I’ve always had the ambition to contribute to a healthier society through education, specifically by promoting critical thinking and social-emotional intelligence. However, changing an educational system is no small feat, and over time, I moved away from this goal as life took its course.

Lately, though, as I observe the world around me – especially in these recent times – I feel it's the right moment to return to this long-neglected area of interest.
